The Perfect Summer Refresher for Healthy Living

Summer somehow turns every weekend into a social event. BBQs, lake days, bonfires, grad
parties, backyard hangouts — and usually a cooler full of drinks to go with it.
And if you’re like me, sometimes you just want something cold and refreshing that isn’t plain
water… but also isn’t loaded with alcohol, sugar, and a million extra calories you didn’t even
really enjoy.
That’s where this Watermelon Mint Refresher comes in.
It feels fun. It looks like summer. It takes maybe five minutes to throw together, and it’s one of
those things that makes staying on track feel a little easier without feeling restrictive about it.
I think a lot of people assume “healthy” means skipping the fun stuff altogether, but honestly,
sometimes it’s just about having options. Maybe you want a cocktail. Cool. Maybe you want one
drink and then something lighter after. Also cool. Maybe you just want something refreshing
while everyone else has a drink in their hand. That counts too.
This one is light, hydrating, and easy to keep in the fridge for hot afternoons or summer nights
when you want something a little extra.

Easy Swap

Want it sweeter? Add a splash of zero sugar lemonade or a packet of stevia.
I’m learning more and more that consistency usually comes from finding things that fit into your
life instead of trying to “perfect” your way through it.
And sometimes that starts with a cold drink in your hand that makes you feel good without
overthinking it.
